Mark Lemel MD joined Brevard Orthopaedics in June 2004 after practicing in Jacksonville, Florida for eleven years. He began training
at Case Western Reserve University Medical School in 1982. He followed this with a six-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the
University Hospitals of Cleveland. One year of this time was spent in a microvascular surgery fellowship. Dr. Lemel spent a year in
Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital doing a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He also spent time in
Freiburg, Germany on a traveling fellowship in limb surgery.
Dr. Lemel has done presentations at numerous meetings and served as President of the Florida Hand Surgery Society from 2004-2006.
His clinical interests include surgery of the hand and foot. He enjoys interacting with patients and colleagues and taking care of
the "whole patient". Along the way, Dr. Lemel met Page Ives, known locally as the fourth generation director of Keystone Camp.
The two married in 1995 and have three children - Catherine, Hannah, and Sam. The Lemels have chosen to live in Brevard for its
quiet beauty and down-to-earth people. Dr. Lemel enjoys raising his children, outdoor adventures, and on occasion can be found
piloting the skies of Western NC.

Dr. Angus Graham was born in Miami, Florida and is the oldest of five children. Both his father as a physician and mother as a nurse
influenced his decision to enter the medical profession. The Graham family moved to Brevard in 1993 after Dr. Graham finished his
surgical training in Gainesville, Florida. He is a graduate of Tennessee's University of the South, after which he obtained his M.D.
from the University of South Florida. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida. He is board
certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. While at the University of Florida he spent time with the
team physicians for the Florida Gators, Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins. Dr. Graham also trained under Dr. William Petty,
developer of the Exakteck artificial hip joint. His training also included helping with the development of the Orion plate. He has
authored several articles and has made presentations to his professional colleagues at several internationally attended conferences
where he was a faculty member and instructor. Dr. Graham enjoys spending most of his free time with his wife, four sons and newly
adopted daughter. He and his family attend Grace Community Church. After work he enjoys running, mountain biking, coaching his
son's sport teams and if he has enough time, exploring rivers by canoe or kayak and surfing. He considers it a privilege to be a
physician and surgeon for his patients and he takes that responsibility seriously by staying current on the latest surgical
techniques and treatment methods.
